cape townA group of consultants from Africa Travel Travel just a weekend in Cape Town to show that South Africa is truly a great destination for short trips. This luxury hotel is ideally situated overlooking the back of Table Mountain, overlooking the gardens of Kirstenbosch National. Next stop: hip hotel chic Kensington Place, located in the City Bowl area on the slopes of Table Mountain. Kensington Place is a serious ‘cool’ property and that would suit honeymooners and young professionals.

All attractions are Cape remote from the abolition of private property, including bars and restaurants near the St. GorgeA quick stop at the bridge, the group presented with the opportunity to understand one another chic hotel. The group was then taken by private helicopter from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront along the coast to Hermanus. The basis for the night was the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, located above Walker Bay near Hermanus, the whale capital of South Africa, looking at the coast. The stay in Grootbos was a great experience. A look at two great white sharks Grootbos confirmed that the place to visit for a complete experience of nature.

It was now time for the group to make their way back to Cape Town, but not before visiting two of Royal Properties portfolio, namely Birkenhead House in Hermanus and residence in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Birkenhead House is conveniently located on a cliff and the standards it sets in terms of location, accommodation, service and cuisine are hard to beat. This beautiful property is an ideal base to discover good wines from this region and the kitchen. Just one hour transfer to the airport Franschhoek marked the end of a fantastic weekend in Cape Town and left the group thinking what a perfect short break destination, Cape Town had become.
